Remember that project you worked on which you really enjoyed? Where you felt like you made a difference? Where you were part of a great team, and were given the space to step up?
We’ve created an employee-owned consultancy where that’s the norm, not the exception. We work with our clients to understand their challenges and build a solution to achieve sustainable, long-lasting results. We also give our consultants early and ongoing responsibility. ‘Team’ rules over ‘individual’, and development is a part of our fabric, not just a training course.
And it’s going well. Our clients love working with us, our people are happy (we’re 3rd in the Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to work for) and we invest back into the community.
We’re on a constant growth path, which means we are always looking for talented consultants to join our team.
Sounds interesting? Great - but what do we actually do?
We are experts in business analysis, programme & change management, process improvement and customer experience. However, being a Clarasys consultant is not just about delivering the same thing over and over again. We provide bespoke solutions to our clients using tried and tested methods - designing and delivering lasting change with the customer and end user in mind. And when projects come to an end, our clients are empowered to be self-sufficient.
You’ll spend most of your time on client site (mainly in London), normally working in teams of 3-5 and will be given the trust and autonomy to deliver. When not working on client, you’ll be able to fulfil your entrepreneurial ambitions helping us grow the Clarasys business. Your voice and ideas will be heard and you’ll have opportunities to work what matters to you and make an impact on the direction Clarasys takes.
Finally, we don't do agile, we are agile. All our internal work is organised in an agile way, ensuring we can deliver our vision quickly and iteratively. Mick, one of our associate directors, has some interesting thoughts on this - take a look here.
Our purpose statement defines us as an organisation that ‘makes a lasting difference to the way people work, live and grow’. And as a company owned by our employees, we are ultimately a business driven by our people, their passions, goals and development.
We have created a support structure built around coaching that results in our consultants developing in leaps and bounds. We have a flat hierarchy where you genuinely can ask anyone for help and everyone wants to provide it. We have fostered an environment where you are surrounded by motivated, intelligent people who want to get results and help our clients. We get together and unwind at monthly socials (getting messy making pizza, hunting treasure across London or sometimes just chatting over food and drinks). You will join an environment where you are surrounded by like-minded individuals who you can trust, who will support you, and who you will continually learn from.
So let's talk about you. You should apply if:
You have 2+ years’ experience in a client-facing consultancy
You have excellent academics and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You have excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
You have experience working in a team and supporting and coaching less experienced members
You have a practical understanding of core business processes
You value weekly coaching sessions as a genuine chance to develop, socials as a chance to get to know your colleagues and pro bono work as an opportunity to give something back
You are interested in taking on projects internally to help shape the development of a consulting practice area or function
You are willing to step out of your comfort zone (wherever it is) and take on different types of work. We work on roles ranging from change projects on government programmes to data analysis on marketing systems.
We offer a competitive salary, a bonus based on personal performance, a peer reward scheme and a profit share. We also provide a flexible holiday scheme, private medical health insurance, and a matched pension contribution.
On top of that, our cutting-edge approach to learning has been accredited by the Learning & Performance Institute, giving you the confidence that you will receive high-quality learning opportunities throughout your time at Clarasys.
We care deeply about inclusive working practices and diverse teams. If you’d prefer to work part-time, we’ll make this happen wherever we can – whether to help you meet other commitments or to help you strike a great work-life balance.
If Clarasys sounds like an environment you would enjoy, please get in touch and when you’re ready, submit your CV and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to hearing from you!
